REACT Summer Skills Program registration Now Open!
Dear Bulldogs Families,
I would like to thank the board of the Chicago Bulldogs for this exciting opportunity. It is truly an honor to introduce myself as the new President and General Manager of The Chicago Bulldogs. Beginning May 1st, I will officially assume this role, and I could not be more excited to become part of a club with such a proud history and strong identity.
When I think about the Bulldogs, I think about more than just a hockey organization. I think about tradition. I think about pride. I think about the kind of values that shape young athletes not only into better players, but into stronger people.
Built on tradition. Driven by discipline. Forged through hard work.
Those words are powerful because they reflect what the Bulldogs has stood for since 2010. This club has earned a reputation for pride, toughness, and team-first hockey, and that kind of standard does not happen by accident. It is built over time by dedicated players, committed families, passionate coaches, and people who care deeply about what this crest represents.
That is exactly why this opportunity means so much to me.
Youth hockey has been a major part of my life for many years. I have had the privilege of serving as President of the Leafs Hockey Club and President of the Leafs Ice Centre. I am also the owner and founder of Blue Star Selects and REACT Hockey Skills Training. But beyond titles and roles, I am also a 12-year youth hockey dad and have spent 10 years as a Team Manager. I understand the early mornings, the long drives, the sacrifices, the emotions, and the deep commitment that come with this sport and this journey.
That perspective matters to me because I know that a hockey club is not just about what happens during games. It is about building a culture. It is about creating an environment where players are pushed to grow, where families feel proud to belong, and where coaches and leaders set a standard of accountability, discipline, and respect. It is about helping young athletes learn how to compete the right way, face adversity, work for one another, and carry themselves with character both on and off the ice.
My vision for the Bulldogs is rooted in those values.
I want this club to be a place where hard work is expected, development is intentional, and wearing the Bulldogs crest means something. I want our players to compete with purpose, train with intensity, and understand that being part of this organization comes with both pride and responsibility. I want our families to know that they are part of something meaningful. And I want our coaches, players, and membership to feel united in building a culture that honors the Bulldogs tradition while pushing toward an even stronger future.
I also believe deeply that the strength of a club comes from its people. Great organizations are built together. They are built through trust, communication, shared standards, and a collective commitment to doing things the right way. I look forward to listening, learning, and working alongside all of you as we begin this next chapter together.
I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve The Bulldogs. I am energized by what this club has been, and even more inspired by what it can become. There is something special here, and I am excited to help build on that foundation with passion, purpose, and pride.
Thank you for welcoming me into the Bulldogs family. I cannot wait to get started.
Let’s go DAWGS!!!!
With gratitude and excitement,
RJ Grewal
